Hitman: Absolution Will Feature Multiplayer Mode
Don't worry. The multiplayer isn't what you think it's going to be...
Agent 47's usual MO is to work alone, and that's not changing any time soon. Don't let the notion of "multiplayer" mode throw you off.
This new mode, dubbed "Contracts Mode", features asynchronous multiplayer in the form of a custom challenge mode.
Players will be able to run through levels from the single player campaign. Depending on their play through, they'll be able to set up challenges to upload for other players to try out. Essentially, players will set the stipulations of the challenge, including the level, the targets, the weapons allowed for use in the hit, and time limit.
When players complete these special, custom contracts successfully, they'll be rewarded with special in-game currency that can be used towards purchasing vanity items and new weapons for 47 to use. Those who have limited access to the multiplayer mode due to Internet restrictions need not worry as the special currency can also be earned through the single player campaign.
Hitman: Absolution will be hitting stores on November 20, 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Many preloaded contracts will be shipping with the game for players to try out.

Call me crazy, but I'm really looking forward to this game. Don't really care about the multiplayer...just the game itself. I love the heck out of the Hitman series.Reply
