The supply of fifth-generation (5G) and above glass substrates might lag demand in the second half of this year due to rising demand from panel makers, who are aggressively ramping up capacity at their next-generation plants, according to Eugene A Verdon Jr., president of Corning Display Technologies, Taiwan.
