Crysis 2 Gets an Official New Release Date

Earlier this month we learned that Crysis 2 was getting delayed from the holiday sesason of this year into early next year.

Those who have shiny new systems built so that they can answer "the question" will have to wait a few months into 2011 to find out.

A tweet from the official Crysis Twitter stream reads:

Crysis 2's new release date: March 22nd, 2011 in North America and March 25th, 2011 in Europe

Along with that message is the first screenshot from the multiplayer mode, which looks like this:

razercultmember1whew time enough to get me 3 more 5870s and a six core !_!

And still you will only get 25 Ffps! Maybe in 2014 when the 8870's come out you will be able to play it on high setting and get above 50 fps!:p

Looks OK, but it all depends on whether they will tie the second game's story into the first one (with characters, etc.) or not. If not, it will be a major disappointment.
