Viiv PC ASP to go down by Q4

published The average selling price (ASP) for Viiv PCs is expected to go down by the fourth quarter of 2006, according to Charlotte Lamprecht, director of digital home brand management at Intel's sales and marketing division, who added that Viiv-based models will be positioned as mainstream desktop PCs in 2-3 years. Currently, the ASP for Viiv PCs begins at $900 and goes as high as $1500-1800.
