LEAKED: StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm Ending
The ending for Heart of the Swarm has been leaked before we even know when it's going to hit retailers.
By now we've all gotten over the excitement that came with the much-anticipated StarCraft sequel, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Still, thanks to Blizzard's decision to split the StarCraft sequel into several parts, we still have a couple of chapters left to look forward to.
Unfortunately, it seems the ending of the second chapter, Heart of the Swarm, has already been leaked. Last night, a video showing four unrefined minutes of what purports to be Heart of the Swarm's ending found its way onto the internet. It has since been pulled from YouTube and Vimeo (citing copyright infringement), which lends a little weight to its authenticity, but lucky for us, a kind soul has re-uploaded it to YouTube.
I won't ruin the ending for you guys (I took a hit for the team in the name of research – you're welcome), but if you're interested in seeing it you can check it out below. Just be warned that it is nowhere near polished. You'll notice what look like unfinished storyboard images and a distinct lack of lip-syncing, but other than that, it's kind of awesome.

That kind of leads me to believe it is nothing more than a well-done fake. But then again, maybe they are just using the Transformer's soundtrack temporarily until they get their own music. I can definitely see that as being possible, since this video was never meant to be leaked.

Blizzard has been sending cease and desist orders to websites hosting it so it gives it some credence but i'm still not sure if i can believe this.

It IS in fact music from Transformers. And yea, no regrets watching it (they may change it a billion times though).

When will companies learn? Sending cease and desist letters and "forcing" websites to take down the video does not help. At all. This video is of such poor quality in all areas that it would have been terribly easy to just say "meh, that's fake. Look at the horrible quality and the Transformers sound track. You seriously think we made that?"
To be perfectly honest with you the only reason I believe this is real is because of the way Blizzard has reacted. Remain calm and I would have blown this off as a fake.
First time there's a video that I am really interested in but chose not to watch. I still hope they're gonna loose their anti-piracy bullshit and I'll then purchase the game.
So is the 'expansion' or whatever they're calling it going to feature new units (especially for multiplayer)? I'm not buying it if its just single player.

It is an awesome ending.... Loveeeeeddddd it! Wings of Liberty was so disappointing but even this couple minutes shows second one will be great!

Come on. Even I can tell that this ending is obviously a mock-up that some really bored guys threw together in their basement in a mocking display of what Blizzard did wrong with WoL, aiming to entertain but not to inform.
