Just a few days ago, Blizzard registered the ProjectBlackstone.com domain name. According to Fusible, the previous holder was a Texan man who let the domain name expire in 2011, allowing Blizzard to swoop in and snatch it up.
The WHOIS record, shown below, reveals little beyond the fact that Blizzard registered the domain name and when it was done:
"Domain Name: PROJECTBLACKSTONE.COM

Could it be that Blackstone is somehow related to Blizzard's new MMO project 'Titan'? Or is Blackstone a whole new monster?
VG24/7 brings up Blackstone Span, a bridge in WoW, although the chances that Blizzard would focus so much attention to just Blackstone Span seems to be unlikely. Nor does it seem important enough that Blizzard would pick up the domain name as a defensive move.
[Ed. note: if only it were ProjectBlackthorne... or ProjectLostVikings... or ProjectRocknRollRacing. One can dream.]
