Gigabyte has released a new budget graphics card, the GeForce GT 640 (GV-N640D5-1GL), which features 384 CUDA cores, 1024 MB of GDDR5 memory over a 64-bit interface clocked at 5000 MHz, and a core clock of 1046 MHz.
The graphics card measures just 157 x 120 x 22 mm, features a single slot cooler, does not require auxiliary power beyond what is supplied by the PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, and offers D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI outputs.
The Gigabyte GeForce GT 640 will be on sale in late July for ¥10,000 (approximately $99).
