Spelunky HD is making its way home to PCs next month and developer Mossmouth is introducing a new Daily Challenge feature with the Steam
release.
The Daily Challenge mode will feature a randomly generated adventure for each day. This adventure will be the same for all players and players will only be allowed to play it once. Essentially, it's the ultimate way to measure your e-ego against your friends.
"Since everyone plays the same adventure during the Daily," states the developer blog, "You'll be able to know for certain who's the top Spelunky player in your tribe - we've already been having a great time competing against one another behind the scenes!"
Spelunky HD will be coming to PC on August 8th, 2013 via Steam and GOG.
