If you missed the "super blood moon eclipse" on Sunday night, we have bad news for you -- the next one isn't on its way until 2033.
But space is infinite, and there's so much to do in it -- like jumping behind the cockpit of a spaceship in Elite: Dangerous.
In the middle of an interstellar war, players join this space MMO as a small upstart before obtaining more ships and credits on their way to becoming a superpower and carving their name in the narrative of humanity's next big frontier.
To do that, you'll need a battle station. We're giving away two copies of Elite: Dangerous, and all you have to do is go to our giveaway thread on the forums and post a picture of your computer (your tower and monitor, at the very least). Be sure to have Tom's Hardware in there somewhere, whether it's on the screen or on a piece of paper in the shot.
This week we also have an option for a bonus entry. If you have an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive development kit, include them in your picture for a second entry to celebrate the game's support for SteamVR.
The contest will run until 12 PM EDT on Friday, October 2. That's 12:00 noon. Winners will receive their prize as a Steam gift; a Steam account is required to receive and to play the game. One entry per user. Winners will be selected randomly from among eligible entries. Attempts to cheat the system will result in automatic disqualification.
Go here to enter! Good luck!
