Spot prices for NAND flash jump 12 percent

The spot price for 2Gbit NAND flash memory has risen 12 percent since last Friday after Chang-Gyu Hwang, president of Memory Division, Device Solution Network of Samsung Electronics, visited the company's Taiwan-based customers last Wednesday and stated that NAND flash prices will not drop further, according to sources.
