The popularity of World of Warcraft is just mind-boggling. It's a gaming industry juggernaut all of its own. Where else can you find a launch trailer with an orchestral score and voice acting for a patch to a PC game?
The new World of Warcraft Client Patch 3.3.0: Fall of the Lich King is now live and available to players. This patch is likely to be the last before the release of the next expansion, Cataclysm.
Avid players will likely have already downloaded and played the updated game, but those not fully acquainted can check out all the patch notes here.
