While the P5AD2 is the Alderwood/925X motherboard, the 925XE version is called P5AD2-E. All the features of the board remain unchanged in the new version. We used this motherboard for our benchmark runs, as it has proven to be the fastest 925XE model so far.

Gigabyte will be shipping the 8I925XE-G using the 925XE chipset. However, we received an early revision 0.1 that makes it obvious that Gigabyte might need a few more weeks to get this board ready for the shelves.
