Kingston Makes Red HyperX Memory for Fashionable Mobos

If color coordination is an important part of your gaming rig, then Kingston has a new option for you. We learned about Kingston's HyperX Red Limited Edition memory modules earlier this month, but we finally got to go eyes-on for the new color. Yes, it's for pure aesthetics, but if you're building a new system and you have a red-themed motherboard -- like the ROG series from Asus -- it's worth a look.

For those who want their memory to match their motherboards, the HyperX Red is a good option that's available in 8GB kits and 4GB single modules at 1600MHz and 1333MHz, in both 1.65v and 1.5v, fully Intel XMP ready.

Why not have an 'add your own colored heatspreader'? I mean, we are freggin BYOC-ers... I think we can handle the application of some RAM heatsinks...

OR, just do what you do with luggage, and offer different color selections of all types on Newegg...
