Ahead of the launch of the Oculus Touch controllers tomorrow, Nvidia released its latest Game Ready driver, which “provides the optimal VR experience for Oculus Touch launch titles.”
According to Oculus, there are 53 titles that will support Touch at launch. This includes games such as Schell Games’ I Expect You To Die, Job Simulator from Owlchemy Labs and Space Pirate Trainer by I-Illusions. Nvidia’s latest driver, WHQL-certified version 376.19, ensures that you can play these VR games with efficient performance and low latency.
The driver also provided a fix for some issues as well. In No Man’s Sky, for example, those with an SLI configuration will no longer see “severe texture corruption.” Issues with G-Sync on notebooks, specifically with flickering and a problem with the G-Sync pendulum demo, are now fixed. All three issues pertain to those with a Windows 10 operating system.
