''Clash of the Titans'' PC Giveaway From Shuttle
How would you feel about winning a Clash of the Titans PC with touchscreen?
Clash of the Titans will be one of this year's "summer box office blockbusters" that'll actually be released in Spring. Besides just the usual mega marketing campaign on TV, radio and internet, those behind the Clash of the Titans push have teamed up with computer maker Shuttle for a special giveaway.
“’Clash of the Titans’ is easily one of the most high-profile films starring high-profile talent this year,” said Nicolas Villalobos, Director at Shuttle Computer Group in Los Angeles. “We’re thrilled to be rolling out our new collection of Shuttle entertainment PCs and creating a limited-edition Shuttle ‘Clash of the Titans’ PC, with touch screen and everything, alongside their film – which will now be released in 3D.”
Shuttle will kick-off the launch of its new entertainment-oriented J Series desktops and X50 2 all-in-one PCs with a limited-edition “Clash of the Titans” PC giveaway. The limited-edition PC will be wrapped in a “Clash of the Titans” theme and come pre-loaded with exclusive “Clash of the Titans” content, including wallpaper and images from the film.
“Shuttle has come out with a collection of very distinctive and elegant lifestyle computers,” said Nicole Sedita, Warner Bros. Vice President for National Promotions. “With ‘Clash of the Titans’ being one of the premier films of the year, it’s a natural fit to work with the leader in small form factor entertainment PCs.”

guitarpeggio hotsacomanI doubt this movie will be as good as the original.Reply
It will be superior at least in the visual effects department. The Krakken looks great.
(And yes...I know the original came out almost 30 years ago, but so did Return of the Jedi and it's visual effects were much better.) -
trevorvdw What's with all the badly done CGI lately on big budget films? Ruins the suspension of disbelief for me.Reply -
ArgleBargle How would I feel about even having a chance to enter *any* of the Tom's Hardware contests? Oh, right, I never will because I don't live in the US.Reply
Doesn't matter anyway. I wouldn't win even if I was the only one with a ticket. -

In what way is it badly done? Please enlighten me. -
Silmarunya As intresting (*cough*) as this movie might be, I'm more intrested in the specs of this PC. I find the specs of a PC I can win rather more intresting than the reason why I can win it, especially if it's yet another craptastic Hollywood blockbuster...Reply -
amdchuck The site makes it clear that the Grand Prize consists of several itemsReply
1. 2010 Shuttle X50 V2 All-In-One PC with Mushkin 4GB Memory (ARV $800)
2. Shuttle Prize Pack (ARV $100)
3. Clash of the Titans Prize Pack with Xbox 360 Video Game (ARV $100)
4. Mushkin Prize Pack (ARV $25)
not very overwhelming if you ask me but hey, if somebody offered all that stuff to me for free I am sure I wouldn't complain. -
joebob2000 Was I the only one that had a hard time getting the "No" newsletter option to select? It didn't change the first few clicks, I had to almost double click it to get it to change from Yes. Some HTML investigation is in order.Reply
