Results: I/O Performance RAID 0
RAID 0 I/O performance does not differ much at short command queues. With up to eight pending commands, all cards are head-to-head. For longer command queues, Areca seems to be limited to a little over 2,000 I/O operations per second. Only Promise manages to scale well at long queue depths, as it can reach almost 4,000 I/O operations per second in most of the benchmark patterns.
