From one print to the next, the colors remain similar, and quite faithful to the original. At a normal viewing distance of 12 inches (30 cm), the dots are not really visible. The photos would be quite suitable for a photo album.
Pinning them to the wall still poses a problem, however. Canon inks are sensitive to gases, and the pictures soon fade if left exposed to the air. In any event, even the tiny i250 is perfectly capable of printing good quality photos.
