Transfer Performance
The numbers for write transfer aren't really all that surprising when taking into account the mirror's creation, which results in a 60% performance decrease vs. running the controller in ATA mode. The median transfer rate through the controller running Vasstek's proprietary RAID1m is slower than a five-year old drive. Added security/redundancy has its' price when attempting to masquerade a single drive as RAID1.
