LEAKED: Acer's 15-inch Dual Touchscreen Laptop

Ooh, lookey what we have here.

If you were a fan of Microsoft's axed dual-screen tablet, the Courier, then we have a treat for you. Acer is apparently planning a similar product, but with laptop specs. The picture below was sent to The Tech Review and shows a 15-inch laptop that's supposedly in development at Acer.

Specswise, it's not clear what this bright-eyed boy has got going on under the hood. All we know is that both multitouch displays measure in at 15 inches and the machine runs on a Core i5 clocked to 2.67GHz and Microsoft Windows 7.

There is no physical keyboard or trackpad, with the bottom touchscreen serving as both, and the laptop will let you 'swap' screens if that tickles your fancy. No word on price or release, but we'll keep you posted.

    That'll tickle my fancy. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of these. It's the perfect programmable keyboard. Or so I hope.

    I love the idea! I can't help but wonder what typing would be like on a touchscreen. TXT on a touchscreen phone is one thing, but typing will take some getting used to.

    I second the most annoying laptop in the world comment. good luck trying to type anything serious on a touchscreen, even if it is full size with force feedback, just a waste of time.

    I wonder if the keyboard will minimize to a button for when you aren't using it. If so then that would be one kickass laptop, get a usb keyboard for it and have a dual touchscreen monitor.

    I third the most annoying laptop in the world, and what sort of battery pack is thing going to need? 100% charge will probably last 20 minutes.

    A roll up keyboard like this for it would be sweet if the bottom screen would minimize the key screen.
