More Gameplay Footage Revealed For 'Dark Souls III' (Updated)

Update, 2/24/2016, 1:49 pm PST: The original video was set to Private. We added a new link of the same video from Bandai Namco's YouTube page.

A few weeks ago, Bandai Namco and From Software released the opening cinematic for Dark Souls III, which introduced players to the land of Lothric and its terrifying enemies. Before that clip, the last time we saw gameplay was in December during PlayStation Experience. Fans craved more footage from the game, and From Software obliged with a new video.

The new gameplay trailer provides a glimpse at the variety of enemies you'll encounter throughout Lothric. Some are slow and easily susceptible to attacks, but some are more agile than others as they have a large attack radius or the ability to jump great distances. With the right strategy (and hours of patience), you can defeat every foe encountered.

On your journey through Lothric, you'll have to defeat the Lords of Cinder. These "bosses" were summoned from their graves when the Link of Fire, which powers the kingdom, was extinguished. In order to return Lothric to its peaceful state, you'll have to defeat hordes of enemies and take out the Lords of Cinder one at a time.

For its release, Dark Souls III will come in two editions. The Day One package ($59.99) includes the game, soundtrack and a Prima Games starter guide. For $129.99, you can grab the collector's edition. This includes all of the contents of the Day One edition in addition to a collector's box, the game's map (made from cloth) and a 10-inch statue of the Red Knight.
