The Iranian government seems to have had it with ninjas and the Star Wars Kid and has banned YouTube. The popular video sharing site has been branded a public nuisance and has been taken off the web. Surfers to the site will see a message that it is not authorized according to Iranian law.
There is no word on whether the Iranian government took offense to the numerous Ask a Ninja videos or the amazing Star Wars kid. YouTube does have several music videos which are considered "scandalous" by the ultra-conservative religious leadership.
One media watchgroup says YouTube has been blocked for at least five days.
