Of course, you will want to observe drill motor speed specs for the material you are about to cut. Since the drive bezel in this case was made from thin aluminum, we set our cutting speed at 2180RPMs. And you should always wear proper eye protection while making the cut.

Jon runs a file around the inside of the hole for the switch to remove any burrs and to get it ready for the install of the switch.

Once the cut was completed, we used a round file, like the kind you use on circular holes to remove burrs. It is most important to be careful not to scratch the finish of the panel.

Once you have completed the filing, it is time to test the hole for a proper fit. If it doesn't fit correctly, you can use the rounded file to shave a little more off if necessary. Make sure that you are careful with the file as you don't want to scratch the surface of the bezel and damage or scratch the painted surface.

Success! Here we have perfectly placed the switch in the middle of our drive bezel and, best of all, we didn't damage or scratch the bezel in the process.
