Cooler Master has announced a new mechanical keyboard, the CM Storm QuickFire XT. This keyboard is a fairly simple mechanical keyboard but still has all the basic features for which any gamer or typist could be looking.
The QuickFire XT keyboard features the standard 104-key layout, with certain keys also acting as multimedia keys. The keyboards also have support for N-Key Rollover as well as a 1 ms response time. The unit's keys are all removable with the included key-puller, and all have laser-etched lettering. The keyboard even comes with an extra set of keycaps. For transport purposes, the keyboard also has a removable USB cable.
The keyboard will also hit the market in not one version, but five versions, each with a different type of switch. Switch types include: Cherry MX Red, Blue, Brown, and the very rare Cherry MX Green.
Cooler Master has already shipped the keyboard to select retailers with pricing varying by region.
