Arctic Introduces Three New Powerful GPU Coolers

Arctic Cooling has announced three new universal graphics card coolers, the Accelero Hybrid II-120, the Accelero Twin Turbo III, and the Accelero Xtreme IV. Starting off, there is the Accelero Hybrid II-120. This is a graphics cooler that is built using a 120 mm radiator and a heatsink that mounts to the rear of the graphics card for taking care of cooling the VRM circuitry and memory.

Secondly, there is the Twin Turbo III. This cooler is a dual-fan cooler with a taller heatsink design. It measures 217 x 122 x 53 mm, and is capable of dissipating up to 250 W of heat using its two 92 mm PWM capable fans.

Lastly, there is the Accelero Xtreme IV. This is the company's biggest cooler, measuring 288 x 104 x 54 mm. It uses five 6 mm thick heat pipes for heat transfer, along with three of the same 92 mm fans found on the Twin Turbo III. The Accelero Xtreme IV 280(X) cooler is built specifically for the Radeon R9 280(X) graphics cards, and features the same Accelero Xtreme IV cooler, but comes with a special retention bracket that is compatible with the R9 280(X) cards.

All three coolers are compatible with graphics cards ranging from the GTX 780 Ti to GTX 660 cards, as well as AMD's R9 270X to R9 290X cards, except the Twin Turbo III, which is not compatible with either the R9 280(X) or the R9 290(X).

The Arctic Accelero Hybrid II-120 will cost $130, the Twin Turbo III will cost $80, and the Xtreme IV will set you back $100.

Will the Xtreme IV fit 7970 ghz editions? It should, but you never know. Also since it mentions a bracket for the 280x edition I wonder if it works on other cards...

woo hoo! Glad these are out now. Last time I got a dirt cheap sparkle GTX570 and slapped an aftermarket cooler on it and it works beautifully and nearly silent. Newer cards have not had many options though, so this is welcome news as I hope to get a newer GPU later this year.

I've been thinking about getting an aftermarket GPU cooler, I guess it was good timing on my end, since I always love Arctic Products. Now, let's hope they put out a better high-end heatsink for CPUs.
