Zooming In On 'Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3,' Hands-On

There aren’t many games these days that focus on sniper-based gameplay (the only other game in the same category I saw this year was Sniper Elite 4), but CI Games' Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, which the company showed at PAX West earlier this month, is an exception. The third installment in the series will take you to Georgia (the country, not the state) in order to eliminate a growing separatist movement. The short demo I played at the annual show impressed me because of its sniping mechanics and stealth-based gameplay, but it's just the tip of the iceberg on what CI Games had to offer in this title.

SE 4 would be my choice. Both series are good, but I do love the xray kill cam from the SE series. Just my opinion - your mileage may vary!

never played it, looks interesting launch date is to far away and it's a crab box ported game so it better cost $20 or less or i will wait until it's in the $3 bin years from now.
authors comments failed to impress me as again no pc specs = crabbox console game and his "assault rifle " you know if you pick up a rock it's still a rock, even if you use it to bash things brains in doesn't make it an "assault rock" the fact he called the railcars trucks shows he too quasi hitler's socialist europe for my tastes as well as his other comments about waiting for the reticle indicator (crapbox console designed games only do this). real physicX would also show the bullets curve with wind and by amounts due to velocity like in real life when i shoot my real rifles which i use to commit deadly assaults on various varmints.

If someone was played before on Sniper Ghost Warrior series and watch gameplay from 3rd part of it know it will be the best part of this game series for sure.A lot of details which we can change in weapon like scope, ammo sounds nice. Additional great news in the game will be open world.

Hey F-14 I think you are taking it a bit too series. I know that gun enthusiasts is US are sick about the government not respecting the second amendment. But keep in mind this is only a game, and the author just used a commonly used phrase. The game costs actually a bit less then $40. We have to wait and see if the game is any good but for now it seems to be shaping up OK for me.

And guys let's not divide the gaming community over politics. That is just not cool.

@sillynilly I love the x-ray cam in SE it is just sick! From what I have heard there will be more possibility to finish a single mission in SGW3. And for me this is a win. But we will see when the games are released.
