CES 2007: LG jumps into iPod accessory land with ultra-cool deck
Las Vegas (LV) - LG is showing off its 2007 range at CES, with the usual gamut of 42" TVs and other such paraphanalia to eat up cash during the year. More interesting, however, is the touch-screen Micro DVD shelf system they showed us at Unveiled.
Made with the (seemingly ubiquitous at CES) iPod in mind, the deck allows the remote control of your iPod (not all that remarkable); and it allows you to play your iPod videos through the system, or on your TV. Remarkable, until you consider the virtues of playing tiny video on a not so tiny screen.
One can also plug in a USB device, via an inbuilt USB port, and play any media from there directly through the deck.
