Microsoft MCE Keyboard: The Missing Link

A Real Keyboard

The keys remind you of the keys on a notebook computer, but that doesn't mean they're not ergonomic. The touch is firm and precise, so it should be quite possible to write slightly longer documents on this keyboard. And even using it on your lap, writing a short e-mail is no major problem. The lower edge of the keyboard does get in the way of your palm in certain positions, however.

Microsoft has put all the controls corresponding to Media Center on either side of the alphanumeric keys, so you can control all the content functions without having to switch to the remote control. This is very practical, especially since they're placed to let you work them while holding the keyboard in both hands. And - very importantly - they're backlit.
