Samsung unveiled two new netbooks today, the N110 and N310, both of which feature 10-inch displays and great battery life.
Up first, we have the Samsung N110, which takes on a professional appearance with a glossy black lid and a touch of red around around the netbook's border. Professionals will especially appreciate the N110 for the included 10.2-inch matte display with 1024 x 600 resolution, the 6-cell battery that is capable of over 7-hours of battery life and the spacious 93-percent full-size keyboard. Other features of the N110 include an Intel Atom N270 1.6 Ghz processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 160 GB HDD, Intel GMA 950 integrated graphics, 802.11g WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and Windows XP Home.

As for the new Samsung N310, its design seems to be more playful and stylish compared to the N110. The system comes in a choice of colors, includes a 93-percent full-size chiclet keyboard and has what can be described as pebble smooth curves. As for system specifications, the N310 comes with a glossy 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 processor, Intel GMA 950 integrated graphics, 1 GB of RAM, a 160 GB HDD, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a 3-in-1 card reader. As for connectivity options, the system includes Bluetooth, HSDPA, 802.11g WiFi and WiMax, although it is a bit unclear if the WiMax and HSDPA will be optional or not.
The Samsung N310 has a weight of 2.7-pounds, a thickness of 1.1-inches and comes with a 4-cell battery rated for 5-hours of battery life. For serious mobile users however, there will be an extended battery option that increases the battery life up to a claimed 11-hours. The Samsung N310 will be available globally in the next couple months with a price of £399 ($580).
