450 Watts For Real Men: Cooler Master Real Power RS-450-ACLY

Real Power: Performance Display Shows Wattage Load

One innovation in the Real Power power supply is the wattage display, which is tucked away in a small plastic case. Via a special cable, this silver-colored box is connected to the power supply. Its dimensions correspond with those of a 3.5" drive, which means that it can also fit into the drive-bay of a PC. When the power is on, the analog needle indicates the wattage. However, reading it can be tricky: The display's background may be illuminated, but that is not an advantage in this analog display. Even when it's dark, users will have a tough time determining exactly where the needle is pointing. Here, a digital display would have been better.
