Final Analysis
The Topre Realforce 104UW is a polarizing keyboard that most people will likely either love or hate. The switches are refined in many ways, but they’re based on rubber domes regardless. The styling can be considered to be classy and reserved, or boring and plain. The lack of extra features will likely not be as major an issue to a typist as it will be to a gamer. The price is quite steep, regardless of the cost inherent to producing a capacitive keyboard, and especially considering the lack of backlighting, macro keys, media controls, and so on. However, those who prefer the unique keyfeel and typing sound may be willing to pay it. Considering the cost, it might be preferable to try the board out before buying, if possible.
