Gelid Launches the SlimHero Silent Low-Profile CPU Cooler

Gelid Solutions has launched the SlimHero low profile CPU cooler that has a height of just 56 mm and features four sintered copper heatpipes and a 120 mm PWM cooling fan that together is rated for a maximum TDP of 136 W.

"A Mini-PC provides entertainment in today's living room and a powerful but silent low profile cooler such as the SlimHero makes it happen," says VC Tran, Marketing Director of GELID Solutions.

The Gelid SlimHero Silent Low-Profile CPU cooler is now available with an MSRP of $32 (€ 25) and is backed by a five year warranty.

    The price point is good. There are better pics on Gelid's site. However, it looks like they're running into compatibility issues with motherboards and the profile of the heatsink already.
