Hoping to capitalize on Apple's success with the Mac Mini, Taiwan-based Macpower recently sent us its Mini Pod M9-DX. The device at first glance looks like a Mac Mini clone. However, the Mini Pod M9-DX is, in fact, a large-capacity storage device designed for both Macs and PCs.
Although the Mini Pod can be attached to any Mac with at least the 9.2 version of its OS or to a PC with Windows 2000 or a more recent Windows operating system, Macpower definitely had the Mac Mini in mind when it developed its design. The Mini Pod may be made of aluminum colored plastic only, but it certainly looks a whole lot like the Mac Mini.
