Supreme Commander is a little more interesting, and we can see by the results that it's clearly more CPU limited than most titles. More CPU power will yield greater benefits in Supreme Commander.

Unreal Tournament shows a surprising boost all the way across, indicating that it, too, is a CPU limited title. The Unreal 3 engine looks great so you can be sure that a lot of efficient coding went into it if it's not begging for stronger graphics hardware.

Warhammer is another title that relies heavily on CPU speed, and judging by the results it's not as multi-core optimized as Supreme Commander, for instance.

With the disappointing results we've gotten from the game benchmarks completed, let's look at some real-world application benchmarks.
