All boards are equal at default speed in the CPU-intensive 3D Studio Max application, but both Gigabyte boards win when overclocked with the P35C-DS3R falling only slightly behind the new X38-DQ6.
Audio

Three out of four boards finished equally in default-clock Lame audio conversion testing, but the GA-X38-DQ6's high overclock puts it in the lead at maximum CPU speed.

In OGG the P35 chipset board falls slightly behind, but the GA-X38-DQ6's top overclock shines.
Video

Foxconn holds its stand against Asus in default-speed DivX encoding, while the GA-X38-DQ6 makes a huge comeback when overclocked.

Asus' ever-so-slight default-speed overclock puts it in the lead for XviD encoding, and again the GA-X38-DQ6 takes the overclocked performance crown.

What happened to this motherboard? I don't see it for sale at places like tigerdirect. Newegg say it's discontinued. Has it been replaced by a newer model or something?
