BlizzCon Tickets Going on Sale at End of April
BlizzCon skipped 2012, but it's back.
BlizzCon, Blizzard's convention held to (and perhaps deservedly so) stroke its own ego as a developer by celebrating its titles, is making a return. In 2012, Blizzard announced that it would be postponing the seventh BlizzCon until 2013, since the developer was much more focused on polishing up its upcoming titles (which at the time was Diablo III) rather than frolicking with zealous fans.
In any case, BlizzCon 2013 is definitely a thing. Two different batches of tickets will be going on sale April 24th at 7 PM PST and April 27th at 10 AM PST. The tickets will be priced at $175 each. A limited number of tickets will be available for a hefty $500 on May 1st. This $500 ticket will grant purchasers admission to a pre-BlizzCon dinner. The proceeds of these special tickets will go to the Children's Hospital of Orange County.
More details on the BlizzCon Virtual Tickets will be released closer to the event. This year's BlizzCon will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center on November 8th and 9th.
