Xilence Addresses Entry-Level Market with New PSUs
Xilence is building new entry-level PSUs.
Xilence introduced the new Performance A series of PSUs. This series is comprised of sharply-priced entry-level PSUs.
The PSUs will be available in 430 W, 530 W, 630 W, and 730 W variants, all of which are built using single 12 V rail designs. Cooling for the units is taken care of by a 120 mm fan. Efficiency is guaranteed through an 80 Plus certificate. All the standard safety features that we would expect from a modern-day power supply are there.
Xilence is now part of the Listan brand, which also owns be quiet! The idea is that Xilence will target the entry-level and mainstream market, while be quiet! will address the enthusiast space, with both companies sharing similar product categories.
Pricing for these PSUs ranges from €33.90 through €52.90, so while you won't get the best PSU out there, you also won't be parting with much cash. Hopefully, they are as reliable as be quiet! PSUs.

4745454b Not sure why, but like FSP I've already like/respected Be Quiet! Just wish they'd come over here in the states. Would be nice if these PSUs were cheaper as well. I can see buying a cheap 80+ bronze if you need something basic, but why spend $30-35 on an 80+, when you can spend the same on a 80+ bronze?Reply
