Some motherboard samples did not yet carry the chipset coolers and heat pipes, as the manufacturers are still finalizing their designs. The I38-MAX is the highest-end Intel X38 motherboard from Abit, carrying a digital voltage regulator.
The X38 QuadGT isn't really much behind, as it caters to the upper mainstream. It also has the digital PWR (Pulse Width Modulation).
The P5E3 Deluxe is one hell of a motherboard, as it also carries a 802.11 a/b/c module. Apart from that, this can be considered an upper mainstream motherboard.
Biostar's TForce motherboards have been doing great over the last couple of months. The latest addition to the TForce product family will be the TX38-A7 Deluxe, which has three PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots. The third one runs four PCIe lanes. We also found i
Foxconn's X38 board is called X38A. All products on display are equipped with DDR memory modules by Oxcco, which is Foxconn's partner.
The Gigabyte X38T-DQ6 supports DDR3 memory; the X38 (without the T) goes with DDR2. Expect both products to be feature monsters, as they come with 12-phase voltage regulators, lots of add-ons and a pile of software and overclocking features.
X38 Diamond uses conventional heat sinks rather than heat pipes. However, it comes with four x16 PCI Express slots and an eight-phase voltage regulator, which is usually hard to find in MSI's portfolio. All components are color-coded, and the board suppor
