Feature Tests, Continued
The fourth test performs physics simulation on the GPU, based on a combination of vertex shading and geometry shading in several passes for each stage, and finally using stream out.
There is a physics simulation test run on the GPU, using particle effects (vertex simulation, each particle being represented by a vertex). It puts the focus on vertex shading power but also stream out, which is also used.
The last test is a pixel shader creating procedural textures using Perlin noise (a calculation-heavy algorithm that stresses the GPU’s calculating power).
