VIA's K8T800 Pro Bumps up HyperTransport Speed, But Lacks Punch

The Test Board From VIA

BIOS Options

All timing parameters are changeable. However, be aware that memory module manufacturers do not know for sure how the built-in chips react to the timings, and the long experiments involved with this are exhausting. So in the end, since the differences are marginal anyways, fine-tuning is pointless.

Now, the speed of the HyperTransport bus is 1 GHz instead of 800 MHz. However, the final results of our tests were quite disappointing.
