The Athlon64 Radeon Xpress: ATi's Latest Stab as a Chipset Maker

PCIe Graphics Upgrade Option Or Multi-Monitor Support

As the Radeon Xpress 200 and the 200P are identical except for the graphics unit, ATi only provided us with the Radeon Xpress 200 to see what the integrated graphics component had to offer.

Plugging in an additional PCI Express graphics card allows you to turn the integrated engine off in order to use a more powerful PCIe graphics board or to enable ATi's multi monitor mode. Provided that the additional x16 PCIe graphics card is made by ATi, the driver will allow Windows desktop applications to be displayed over three monitors.

How about running four displays? Combining DVI and S-Sub outputs of both the integrated graphics and a dedicated PCIe graphics board makes this happen.
