ATi's X800 Pulls Off Another Coup in the Graphics Performance War
Call Of Duty
To measure the cards' performance in Call of Duty, we used a timedemo we recorded ourselves. It is set on the map MP_Brecourt. All quality settings available in the game are set to maximum.
Call Of Duty - Normal Quality
In OpenGL, the GeForce 6800 Ultra can really flex its muscles - at least in Call of Duty. While the driver version 60.72 afforded the card only a slim lead over the competition, the new 61.11 driver allows it to comfortably extend this lead, which is actually only of minor importance in these performance regions. At 1600x1200, the X800 XT is again twice as fast as the Radeon 9800XT. The scores of the X800 Pro also look very good.
