Tom's Overdrive Competition: Finals Recap
A Final Word Of Thanks
We’ll end by thanking everybody, starting with our sponsors. We’d like to thank MSI for the Eclipse motherboards (and the P45D3s during the qualifications) and for the army of engineers they sent in to help us out. We also want to thank FSP for the power supplies (1010 W powerhouses) and also for sending us 1200 W models, since the 1010s posed a problem for certain overclockers. Again, Kingston supplied the DDR3-2000 DIMMs used during the contests, Samsung the hard disks, and Logitech the keyboards and mice. We’d also like to thank LDLC and Gainward for their invaluable aid during these finals.
Then There’s You And The Overclockers
We also want you thank you, our readers. You sent in comments, complaints, and expressions of support; you offered to participate; and you even chose the eventual participants via our forum. You’re the ones we organized the contest for, and you deserve the credit for it happening.
And last but not least, we want to thank the overclockers themselves—for their good humor, and their ability to deal with all of the little problems that are inherent in this kind of competition.
A big “thank you” to all. Again, happy holidays!

Can someone tell me the point of adding salt to the water in order to avoid freezing? Far as I know, salt doesn't work once the temperatures exceed minus 10C degrees? at least it doesn't on the danish roads.
Adding alcohol would've probably worked better.
