Metamorphosis from Springdale to Canterwood

Benchmarks

FSB clock speeds of the test models used.

After extensive analysis, we put the store version of the P4P800 through our tests with all of the benchmarks. Here, we want to emphasize that we’re talking about two completely identical boards with the same revision (1.02) and BIOS (1006 Beta 010 and 1007.001) as well as settings. Furthermore, the Intel P4 came with 3 GHz as well as the same memory (Corsair XMS3200V1.1, DDR400 with CL2.0-2-2-5). We used the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro as our graphics card. The press sample runs at 200.5 MHz while the retail board works with 199.92 MHz. The benchmarks show how the different BIOS versions affect the performance of all three of the Asus P4P800 boards that we tested.
