Overclocking
We decided to see if the card could be pushed beyond its specification, and if so, by how much. The first image shows they clock speeds at the reference specification clock speeds.
The second is the overclock that we were able to sustain. We were able to push out an additional 108 MHz on the memory and 102 MHz on the core. That is an additional 15.5% on the memory and 18.5% on the core.
While running at those frequencies we tested 3DMark05 at the default settings and obtained a score of 10,872 marks. That is an improvement of 13.4% over stock. That boost makes it perform better than the overclocked XFX GeForce 7900GT 550M.
