Since we wanted to compare the system to a common Serial ATA solution using 3Ware's 9500 card, we only used one SCSI channel. We could not gather more than eight Western Digital Raptor drives running identical firmware versions, so we also ran the StorCase benchmarks with only eight Savvio drives. LSI Logic's MegaRAID SCSI 320-2 was used for testing the InfoStation.
