LCD oversupply to peak in 3Q, says market research firm

published Oversupply of large size TFT LCD panels will likely surpass 10% in 2006 amid aggressive capacity ramps from Korean and Taiwanese LCD panel makers, according to a DisplayBank press release.
After peaking at 10.7% in the first quarter of 2005, oversupply steadied at roughly 5% as demand built through the year, which led to stabilizing panel prices.
