Conclusion
The NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTs are very powerful cards, and these two specimens did not fail to impress. As you can see from the test results, they came close to the 7800 GTX scores and beat the ATI Radeon X1600XT, which isn't even available on the market yet. In addition to good 3D performance and a full feature set, the cards also earn points for complete sets of cables, which include a YPrPb component cable for HDTV displays. The only negative point is the meager and outdated application software bundle, but both vendors will have newer shipments bundled with Call of Duty 2.
While both cards will serve any gamer well, we have to declare a winner. From the benchmark scores you can see that both cards are neck and neck in all of the tests at shipping speeds. The cards also cost about the same (depending on the retailer), so you can go either way. However, if you are the type of person that overclocks, the EVGA was able to deliver almost a 9% performance boost over the XFX. It is the winner at heart in the minds of enthusiasts, and it delivers the better bang for the same buck.
