Benchmark Results: Far Cry 2
Far Cry 2 will lead the vanguard of actual games. Let's see how the Radeon HD 5670 fares in our first real game metric:
The new Radeon looks to perform somewhere between the GeForce 9600 GT and the GeForce 9800 GT in this title. And, based on its specifications, this is about where we thought it would would land.
The older Radeon HD 4770 performs notably better, and the Radeon HD 5750 is in an entirely different class. We can expect the Radeon HD 4850 and GeForce GTS 250 to perform somewhere between the 4770 and 5750, and this doesn't bode well for the new Radeon from a value perspective.
