SilverStone Expands Strider Gold S Series of PSUs

SilverStone has announced two new power supplies, both making part of the Strider Gold S series of PSUs. The power supplies will come in power packages of 750 W and 850 W, and as their names indicate, will be 80 Plus Gold Certified. The units are up to 90 percent efficient.

SilverStone also boasts that the power supplies are the smallest power supplies in their power class that feature a fully modular cable design -- all the cables are removable, and the power supplies measure 150 x 150 x 86 mm.

The units feature a single 12 V rail, an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) of 100,000 hours, all the expected safety and protection features, and lastly, a silent 120 mm fan for cooling. 

Retail availability is expected to be later this month, though there was no word on pricing.
