Video Resolution Loss Test: Out Of 25 Points
This test simply shows a pattern of lines and color bars. If the DVD player can show the smallest lines without flickering, it is successfully de-interlacing the image.
| Video Resolution Loss test | Windows XP | Windows Vista |
|---|---|---|
| Radeon 2600 XT | 25 | 25 |
| Geforce 8600 GTS | 0 | 25 |
| Radeon 2400 PRO | 0 | 0 |
| Geforce 8400 GS | 0 | 0 |
Once again, the 2600 XT is perfect across the board, the 8600 is only working in Vista, and the 2400 and 8400 are demonstrating no post processing whatsoever.
